What's so wrong with GMA7?

Or rather, what's wrong with you, Puhunan?

I really don't know but all I know now is I've lost so much time and value for money on this one.

As usual as a newbie Investor in 2008, this is one of the first three stocks along with GLO and JFC that I intended to hold until retirement on an investment rationale of investing in what you know (IIWYK) which I've learned and adapted from the books of "Bagger" of Mr. Peter Lynch - the only strategy I've easily understood and opted to follow at the time.

As a newly focused and determined Trader, I finally found the right courage to let it go purely on its chart - that's it! - position closed!

But somehow I'm still in search for answers, clues, reasons and any counter-arguments as to why it took me that long to figure it out. I really thought it will catch up to the level of ABS-CBN as in the case of TEL and GLO. Indeed I thought it will be a bagger in 5 years time (actually missed it on its nearly a bagger in July 2012 high at P11.00 just P0.75 short on its ATH in August 2007).

Oh wait, fancy 5 more years? - Nah! Thank You!

Meanwhile, in quest of a cure to my BMS virus I stumbled upon these very helpful articles:

Realisation
"Panay Kilala, Panay Bagger!" - Panai Rao

  • Buy decision must be matched with a planned Sell decision all the time.

  • Don't just Buy and Hold, must Sell too especially if its chart's shouting it out loud. Then Repeat.

  • No need to rely on IIWYK model even on #AlDub phenomenon to "Bagger" but study harder and trade more to Double Your Money (DYM) instead through Charting and TA.

  • In Profits, Take It!

    Indeed!
