BMS? You might have it too!

I must admit I had BMS for ages, so stuck with it and my investing (now trading) system is heavily infected by it!

It's not helping with my transitioning into a Trader as my profit mindset is set and fixed on level that is at least a "Bagger" or "MPB" as I call it now.

It's so frustrating when it attacks every time a big move appeared in any of my positions but all I do is cancel profit targets, revise quota, ignoring the chart and constantly refreshing the port summary to check its MPB Level - bad trading habits of any aspiring Trader plagued with BMS especially those in a broker with no Trailing Stop feature such as the BPITrade.

And it doesn't help when you have no one to talk about it but somehow I thought of blurting the same to...
Celeste is right with her description of ZF as I'm having similar beginnings though not in the same "RED-PORT" situation as in the case of most aspirants and apprentices for ZFT Program (Sorry guys as I only suffered some "RED-POS" in a mostly "GREEN-PORT" situation) - Hi to you all out there! Peace! : ).


So I decided to find the root cause of my BMS with the help of my re-ignited interest in Charting and TA which I honestly despise and hated due to my failed FX Trading and promised then to never use or rely on it with my stock investing - bad moves, indeed!

What's BMS? - to me it's an Investor's disease that prevent taking any profits in any profitable positions that are below MPB 1 but when hit or past that level only to hold them like forever until they turn from winners into losers and wait 3-5 or more years to hopefully break even before moving on or thinking of a new position, unable to participate in any super plays due to no cash position and worst of all cut deeper losses on a confirmed reversal ($EW - very guilty!).

Why URC?


Digging deeper, here's what I've found out.

Look and examine the URC's highs in Logs "c)" to "d)" - yes, it's a staggering MPB 42+ Level. That's P100k mo (say 1M) naging P4.2M (42M) in nearly 8 years! - THAT'S SUPER BAGGERRRR!!!

Kudos to those who made money within that level! - congrats! maybe you're now one of those many GURUs and GINYUSES whom I honestly and thankfully avoided during my newbie days.

What? You missed it too? So there it is! Got infected! - BMS carrier since!

But back in 2008, just more than a year after the Housing Bubble in 2007, few months before the Lehman Brothers collapse that triggers the mother of all Stock Market crash, this stock is actually in my "IIWYK List" along with GLO, JFC, TEL, ABS, ALI, AP and other blue chip companies.

I remember ignoring URC at its lowest price of P4.50 in 2008 in favor of GLO which I got some at its lowest price of P760.00 as my first ever and only stock holding I had in 2008 (see my Port-formance) - ironically without looking or basing on chart for buying at the time, just a rationale of GLO's potential to reach the TEL's High P2,275 and Low P1,810 at the time but now a reality at its present ATH P2,720.00 reached in 06/2015 surpassing its post-IPO ATH P2,611.05 in 11/1993!

"Puro hula! Puro akala!" - Puro Rao

  • Lack of skills and/or ignorance in Charting and TA blinded Investors and/or any practising or seasoned but unprofitable Traders from seeing the whole picture, direction and trend of any stocks.

  • Skills in Charting and TA likely helps me to re-enter or reload in any situation of these Super Bagger stocks at the time.

  • Skepticism and procrastination helps me avoided having the same "RED-PORT" situation but it limits discovery, learning and other opportunities such as in the 2009 Market.

  • BPITrade must have TS feature (or change broker?).

  • Chart! Chart! and Chart pa more!

  • TA! TA! and TA pa more!

  • No time for it? then don't be hue! hue! hue!
